HOUSTON – ConocoPhillips today announced it will donate $25,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in disaster relief efforts arising from the recent tornado in Watford City, North Dakota.   “Our thoughts are with the Watford City community, which has been impacted by Tuesday’s devastating tornado,” said Alan Bruce, Williston Operations Manager for ConocoPhillips. “Our company has a long-standing commitment to support communities where we live and work, and we hope this contribution will help those affected begin rebuilding their lives.”   Through the company’s matching gift program, employees’ and retirees’ personal donations to eligible charities, including relief organizations, will also be matched dollar-for-dollar.
