MIDLAND, Texas – ConocoPhillips presented $150,800 in charitable grants to 19 Permian Basin organizations at a company sponsored luncheon.

“We are pleased to be able to contribute to organizations that play such a vital role in the lives of Permian Basin residents,” said Johnny O. Golden, Permian Operations Manager, ConocoPhillips. “Even though commodity prices have been low, we believe it’s important to give back to the local communities where we live and work, and we are proud of the contributions and volunteer efforts of our local employees.”

Each year, ConocoPhillips invests in local communities through charitable giving, employee volunteerism and sponsorships. Our donations support education, health and safety, natural resources, the arts, civic and social services and disaster relief. This year’s grant recipients include area volunteer fire departments, educational institutions, emergency services and various other civic organizations.
