BILLINGS, MT – ConocoPhillips today announced the distribution of $17,500 in charitable grants to two organizations in Billings. The Montana Audubon Center was awarded a $10,000 grant, which will support hands on environmental programs for students visiting the center. The Billings Backpack Meals Program was the recipient of a $7,500 grant, which will be used to provide at-risk elementary school children who otherwise may go without food meal packets to take home on weekends and school holidays.

“Investing in the communities where we live and work is a fundamental value for ConocoPhillips and our employees,” said Chris Malkin, Williston operations manager. “That is why we are proud to support the efforts of these two organizations that are helping to improve the quality of life in our Billings community.”

Each year, ConocoPhillips invests in local communities through charitable giving, employee volunteerism and sponsorships. Company donations support education, health and safety, natural resources, the arts, civic and social services and disaster relief.

ConocoPhillips has offices in Billings and Sidney, Montana, and in Dickinson and Watford City, North Dakota.
