ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder
ConocoPhillips has partnered with LiftFund and local community organizations to provide a three-week program to help Permian Basin entrepreneurs develop and grow their business.
ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder is a U.S. initiative that seeks to strengthen local communities through the promotion and development of entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder program will support at least 75 small businesses in Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico, and Ward, Ector, Midland and Winkler counties in Texas through weekly online training sessions. Participants commit to a series of virtual sessions, assignments and advising sessions over the course of three weeks. Graduates of the program will receive special considerations for access to capital.
Program Benefits
Participants that successfully complete the ConocoPhillips Small Biz Builder will have access to the following:
- Support – free 1:1 Business Coaching sessions
- Development - training classes in Business Model Canvas, Marketing your Business and Managing your Money
- Networking - connect with likeminded area entrepreneurs and mentors.
Program Eligibility
Applications are open to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs living and having a business in Eddy and Lea counties in New Mexico, and Ward, Winkler, Ector and Midland counties in Texas.
- Must be a start-up business owner with greater than 50% ownership.
- Each application will be evaluated and vetted by a selection committee on a case-by-case basis.
